Health and Safety Chairperson: Kathleen Sexton (kathleen.a.sexton@medstar.net ) CURRENT NEWS WHO WE ARE! The Health and Safety committee works with school health personnel on issues relevant to our teens. We provide teen-related health brochures to all students through the school library kiosk and the health suite. We also sponsor various programs throughout the year, including these topics: anti-smoking, mental health awareness, knowledge about substance abuse and suicide prevention for our children. We bring together the school and the community through Girls’ Night Out and Men’s Health Day, two events where we invite other organizations to present relevant information to our students and other students in the community.
