Concert Band, directed by Mr. Ryan Williams and Mr. Scott Engel, is the beginning-level band at Perry Hall High School. Students selected for Concert Band are those who may be in need of further development prior to proceeding onto the more challenging literature in the upper levels. The goal of the Concert Band is to develop basic musicianship on an individual level to allow each student to perform appropriately in an ensemble and with their individual sections. After demonstrating acceptable levels of performance and the beginnings of maturity and responsibility to prepare individually for band class, students will be ready to step up into the upper levels of the program here at Perry Hall.
