Music Tech 3 Project 1: Video Game Project
You are being sought after to write the soundtrack for a new video game. You need to put together some examples of the music you are proposing for the game to submit for your application.
Your music needs to be written to depict 7 to 9 different scenes in the video game, such as a Battle Scene, a Town Scene, a Love Theme, a Death Theme, etc. You may select any variety of scenes you wish.
You first stem is to select which scenes you will use and write a detailed description of each scene in Microsoft Word in order to plan your musical score. Your music, in total, must be at least 15 minutes long, and each track must be at least one minute long.
You may also choose the type of instrumentation you wish to use (i.e. Rock, Metal, Classical/Orchestral), but you must stay consistent for all the tracks of music you write.
After you have written your music, you will create a Compact Disc with a printed label to be your "application."
Music Tech 3 Project 2: Light Show Project
For your light show, you need to bring in your own piece of music that lasts at least 5 minutes. Be sure to pick a piece of music that demonstrates and suggests the idea of "motion" to aid the effectiveness of the Light Show. You may choose any piece of music you like, but it is subject to teacher appoval.

Contact Mr. Williams if you have any questions.
