NOTE:

Ø        Mailed registration must be postmarked by the regular deadline dates

Ø        Sunday administrations is available the day after each Saturday test date for

          students who cannot test on Saturday for religious reasons.

Ø        Language Test with listening is available in November only

*Stand-by testing is not guaranteed and done on first come first serve basis if additional materials are available after check-in.

Fee Waivers

Waivers are available for juniors and seniors who cannot afford to pay test fees. A total of four waivers (two Reasoning and two Subject tests) can be used per eligible student. 

Students must register by the regular registration dates.  Waivers cannot be used for late or stand-by fees and is not transferable to another date.  

Students who use test waivers may also be eligible for college application waivers.  Please see Ms. Ramin in the Counseling Office for waivers. **

Eligibility

Free and reduced lunch students are eligible for fee waivers.  Home-schooled students are eligible if they qualify for free and reduced lunch at their school of origin.

Score Range

Each section of the Reasoning Test has a maximum score of 800 for a maximum score of 2400.

Note: Scores from the October and November SAT administrations are sent by two-day priority delivery to colleges for Early Decision/Early Action (ED/EA) program consideration. Most colleges accept October and November scores for ED/EA programs. Please check with specific colleges to understand when SAT scores need to be received to meet application deadlines. Additional score release dates will be provided in late summer.

Test Accommodations

Dear Parent Letter (.pdf/43k)

Students with documented disabilities and an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) may be eligible for College Board accommodations.  You must complete an eligibility form Instructions for Completing the Student Eligibility Form (.pdf/209 K) to intiate the approval process.  Documentation must be on file for requested accommodations.  It is recommended that you apply far in advance to ensure approval by desired test date.  The process takes approximately 6-8 weeks.  Contact your child’s special education case manager for an application.  Mrs. Eckels in the Counseling Office will process accommodation forms for PHHS.
