Graduation Requirements

Students are required to earn at least one credit in a Fine Arts course to meet BCPS and MSDE Graduation Requirements. All intro level courses listed below meet the Fine Arts course requirement. Students can explore multiple disciplines through structured programs and specialized ensembles:

Course Offerings

Band: 4 levels, focusing on woodwinds, brass, and percussion techniques.

Choir: 4 levels, including treble, tenor/bass, and mixed ensembles.

Dance: 4 levels, from standard to honors and ensemble.

Guitar: 4 levels, featuring a Guitar Orchestra.

Orchestra: 2 levels, including concert and chamber ensembles.

Piano: 3 levels, plus an independent GT course.

Music & Audio Technology: 2 levels.

AP Music Theory: Advanced Placement for college credit.
