Programs are different pathways allowing you to fulfill your high school graduation requirements while taking classes you’re interested in along the way.  Think of a program as you would choosing a major in college.  You must choose one program to graduate high school but many students choose to fulfill more than one completer which would be considered completing a “dual program.”

AP Courses at Perry Hall High School

The Advanced Placement Program (AP) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school, with the opportunity to earn credit (points toward an undergraduate degree) or advanced placement (the opportunity to skip an introductory level university course) by taking and receiving a certain score on the AP exam.  AP is recognized in the admissions process by more than 4,000 universities worldwide, and outside the U.S., more than 600 universities in more than 65 countries recognize qualifying AP Exam scores (College Board, 2016).
